TR in the News: E3 2005

As the battle-hardened veterans of Tabula Rasa set up their base at E3 2005, the gaming press was more than a bit intrigued. These rebel warriors, forming humanity’s last thin line of defense, demonstrated the stuff of legends. To read more about Tabula Rasa at E3, check out the articles below.

RPGvault:

Tabula Rasa has some very impressive graphics and seems to sport a lot of the features that your new video card can show off.

Gamezone:

The game is visually compelling, and the sound is interspersed with both the environment mayhem as well as voice chat from teammates. The new look may be completely at the other end of the spectrum from where the game began, but it does appear that Tabula Rasa will provide a fast-paced action shooter adventure.

Ogaming:

As if things couldn’t have gotten any better, I was even allowed to film the demo for all the TR fans out there so that they could see Richards new dream game come alive.

Worthplaying:

Tabula Rasa , which combines gameplay elements from futuristic shooter games with the MMORPG formula in order to create something new.

Tech News World:

The title that jumped out at me was Destination Games' "Tabula Rasa," a combination of a first-person shooter, a role-playing game, and a massive multi-player online game. It seemed to blend the advantages of each into a new category that should achieve a larger audience than titles focused on only one of the types. I tend to prefer companies that really push the envelope and this title jumped out as one that did that powerfully.

The Inquirer:

NCsoft's MMORPGs are pretty damn groovy. Tabula Rasa from Destination Games. It is not an MMORPG, but more of a cross between an MMORTS and a MMOFPS. There is a bunch of strategy involved, not just running around slaying every rat that crosses your path.

Joystiq:

Though the game isn’t due out until February or March of next year, it’s already looking fairly polished and playable.

Gamespot:

Tabula Rasa remains an intriguing game that has taken an all-new form.
