A Time to Remember
Some brought photos… some brought trinkets that were now more priceless then gold. “Only what you can carry” was what we were told. At the time, we didn’t realize we would likely never set foot on Earth again. So we took what we could carry… what was precious to us. And now, those trinkets are all that remains of earth. That and one thing we could all carry with us. Our memories.
Clean Slate
The humanity of yesterday. Our day-to-day lives were filled with discovery, enlightenment, and dreams of a better tomorrow. For the first time in human history, we seemed to control our destiny. But the universe was unimpressed and sent us a cruel reminder of our real place in the natural order.
Paradise Lost
It happened on December 21st. I remember, because it was Eileen’s birthday. We were sitting on the balcony at a sushi restaurant way up in the hills, overlooking the city lights.

The Building of the Bane
The Bane is a collection of creatures, both sentient and not, collected and genetically and/or mechanically altered by the Neph to be part of their ultimate army. It started with the Thrax, but was soon expanded to include any creature that showed promise as a force of destruction or in some way could be exploited to give the Bane an advantage.
The Children of the AFS
These children have survived a nightmare. But look at them. Even after all of the horror they have experienced, they can still laugh and play. Their laughter is proof that there is hope for us all.
