Soul of a Soldier Submissions

Please send all submissions to TRsubmissions@ncsoft.com, with the subject heading: Soul of a Soldier Submission. Be sure to include your character name so that your entry can be properly credited to you. Screenshots can be submitted along with your entry for consideration if you would like to include one.

To submit your story for the “Soul of a Soldier” blog, please follow these guidelines:

• Entries must be written in character, and be in first person voice.


• Entries should include a suggested title.


• Entries must take place within the Tabula Rasa universe and spotlight the day to day life of an AFS soldier. You are encouraged to make references to actual in game locations, characters, story arcs, and in game events.


• Entries should be short. 200-300 words is ideal. Entries with more then 500 words will not be considered. Longer stories can be submitted to our fan fiction section.


• All entries are subject to screening and editing before being posted on the site.


• Entries must not violate the User Agreement regarding copywrited materials, profanity, etc...

Also, the AFS is now recruiting all Soldiers with an aptitude for blogging to have their own character blog listed on the “Soul of a Soldier” Blog Roll. All you have to do to get your character blog listed is to submit it using the Submit Your Fan Site link. Once you're there, just fill out the form and be sure to select the box for Blog/Specialty Site.

For your blog to be included on the Soul of a Soldier Blog Roll, it must be written completely IN CHARACTER and meet all other criteria listed on the fansite agreement.

By submitting fiction (including, without limitation, any screenshots) (collectively, the “Fiction”) to or creating Fiction on any area of the service and/or throughout the world, you (a) warrant that your Fiction is your own original work, which does not violate any rights of any third party (including, without limitation, any patent, copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right, or any privacy, publicity or publishing rights), and (b) acknowledge and agree that such Fiction is the sole property of NC Interactive, Inc. and assign to NC Interactive, Inc all right, title and interest, including copyright, in and to the Fiction. NC Interactive, Inc., in its sole discretion, may edit and modify the Fiction. To the extent that NC Interactive, Inc. cannot claim exclusive rights in Fiction by operation of law, you hereby grant (or you warrant that the owner of such Fiction has expressly granted) to NC Interactive, Inc. and its related game content providers a non-exclusive, universal, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicenseable right to exercise all rights of any kind or nature associated with such Fiction, and all ancillary and subsidiary rights thereto, in any languages and media now known or not currently known.

By proffering your work, you further agree to all terms set forth herein and grant permission for use on the Tabula Rasa website and/or in promotional and/or advertising materials without compensation or notice to you.
