The latest patch is now live on the Public Test Server! There are several new features in store in this patch and we’d like to address the major changes in this week’s Feedback Friday.
Firstly, the Developers at Destination Games left a respec under your tree! This respec (currently on PTS) will not allow your character to change tiers, but will let you reinvest your ability points into different abilities under your current class choice. The Rage ability updates were implemented with this build as well as some ability changes with the Medic and Biotechnician. Check out Lead Designer Paul Sage’s explanation of both changes and the reasons why the team felt they needed to happen here.

How can I be sure that my petition is being processed? Can I send a tell to a GM ingame?
Some of you have experienced first hand being helped by a GM ingame and I'm sure you can all agree that GMs are very helpful and very friendly too. Most are gamers and appreciate the predicaments you sometimes are in. However, please also respect the fact that they can't always reply to your private messages/tells when they are ingame as they most definitely are on a mission when they are logged into the game, either to help another player or to check an issue. The best thing to do when you want to report an issue, be it a bug or a suggestion, is to do it through a petition. To do this, simply type /petition and hit enter. You will then be able to type a description of the issue and submit it to us. Please do not feel offended if a GM doesn't reply to your private message, they are busy people.
However if you need to inform a GM that you are online to fix a particular problem that you have petitioned before, please update the ticket via MY Stuff on the PlayNC website and they will get to you as soon as possible.
What's the difference between /bug and /petition?
- /bug - to report a bug that does not prevent you from progressing with your character (ie, NPC is stuck in a wall, mission text typo, crafting bug, etc). These reports go straight to our QA Department. If the bug is a new, they will write up a bug report and send it to the appropriate developer to correct. ***Please note, you will not receive a response from a /bug report.
- /petition - to call for GM assistance. Use /petition if an item is lost, your mission cannot complete, something is preventing your character from progressing, etc. Once your ticket is submitted, you will get a reply. The reply may not always be in game (possibly via email). If the issue petitioned is a bug and the Game Support Team cannot solve it manually by using a command, they will pass it on to our QA Team who writes up a bug and assigns it to the appropriate developer. These issues are fixed globally via patch, not one at a time.
Known Issues
Cannot use abilities while moving (error message: You cannot use this ability while moving). This is not by design and will be changed in an upcoming patch. The intended design is that your character will stop and activate the ability when you trigger it. On a similar note, if you use a consumable (such as a Med Pack or Res Trauma Kit) while moving the cooldown begins but you get no effect from the consumable. Both of these issues should be resolved shortly in an upcoming patch.
Where is my clone token from the Palisades Targets of Opportunity quest?
This is also not by design. The issue is already resolved internally and should be coming to your server soon!
