Mama always taught us, it’s better to be seen and not heard. Well, as a Sniper in the Ranger Corps, it’s better for everyone if I’m not seen and not heard. Well, for everyone but that Bane in the center of my scope.
In the Sniper division, it’s not about rushing into battle. It’s about finding the sweet spot. It’s about scouting for location and picking Crusty off one at a time. Once I get a bead on them, they don’t stand a chance.
I’ve always had a keen eye for detail. My team can count on me to see past the Bane defenses and pick out their weaknesses. My squad counts on me to see things others can’t and let them know the best way to take them out. When I’m on my game, my whole team is more efficient.
As a member of the Sniper Division, sometimes you have to head out on your own, sneak by the opposition, and then wipe them out. That’s when you really have to be on your game. Like when I was sent to take out Phuumz. I waited hours for one perfect shot, and it wasn't easy ... the cover on that bluff was about as sparse as hair on a baboon’s backside. But I had some shredder ammo loaded up. Then I target painted a bead on him and, Bang! He dropped before he even knew what hit him.
If you think you have what it takes to make it in the Sniper Division, you will be among some of the most elite soldiers in the AFS. They may not see or hear us, but Bane sure do fall fast when they’re on the wrong side of our rifle.
